Mary Eaton has been keeping bees on her property in Laird for 20 yrs. What started on a whim, has now become a regular, year-round practice for her. With two decades of experience behind her, Mary now knows here bees like the back of her hand.
Her bee yard in Laird currently houses 5 nucleus hives and 9 full strength hives along with her yard on St. Joseph’s Island which houses 6 nucleus hives, and 8 full strength.Mary’s honey has a beautiful texture and full flavor with a hint of clover. As well as the extracted honey, Mary also sells comb honey, bee’s wax and a number of honey-enriched beauty products including soaps and creams, which are simply delightful.
